For several years we have been running a pre-season all-inclusive cookery course aimed at encouraging and training potential Chalet Hosts so that they can get the most from their season.
Our course is by far the most intensive alpine cookery course available. You really will learn all the skills you will need to be a successful Chalet Host and will find that our course prepares you for the job so much better than other commercial courses in the UK. So before booking an expensive UK-based course, talk to us.
Our course is also the best value financially, other courses can cost up to £950 for just 5 days, and you get none of it back!
Places on our cookery course will only be offered to applicants who have successfully completed our interview process, so we strongly suggest you apply early to guarantee your place.
Our course offers:
- Training in kitchen management, knife skills and food awareness
- Theory modules and guidance in catering for specialist diets

- Experience in a small domestic chalet kitchen similar to those in our own chalets

Upon successful completion of your ski season with Esprit Holidays, Inghams or Ski Total we will reimburse 50% of the cost of the course - outstanding value for intensive catering training!
The cost of the Cookery Course is £499 per person. This includes:
- Travel from a UK departure point to the Cookery Course location in France
- 7 nights accommodation
- All meals (most of which you will cook yourself) and refreshments
