Belle Plagne
Belle Plagne is set up at 2000 meters in the La Plagne ski area which is part of Paradiski one of the biggest ski areas in Europe. Belle Plagne is well suited for seasonnaire’s with the slopes easily accessible and a good selection of bars. There is something for everyone out on the mountain, high glacier skiing right through to cruisey tree runs. There is more than just skiing to be had, with an outdoor pool in Bellecote for the brave hearted, bowling alley and an indoor climbing wall for the more adventurous.
Belle Plagne is well linked with all the other villages in the la Plagne area so it is easy to go and explore. There are only a couple of bars in Belle Plagne itself but these ones will not let you down they have a good seasonnaire feel for those of you wanting a quieter night there is the Bowling Bar. For those nights where you want to party longer in nearby Bellecote you will find some more bars and a nightclub.
Each year la Plagne hosts the Urban Plagne which is a three day event which turns the whole of La Plagne into a park which includes skateboard, freestyle skiing and snowboarding demos, they also hold the Freestyle Half Pipe World Cup Final, a great opportunity to see some of the world’s best half pipe riders competing.
