Chamonix
A season in Chamonix is something that everybody should do at least once! It is an unforgettable town at the foot of the Mont Blanc Mountain.
A free bus takes you up from the resort to any of the 5 very distinct and different ski areas which are world renowned and a favourite with both beginners and advanced skiers due to the wide blue runs through the trees and the steep descents from the glacier. There is also a large snow park at Les Grands Montets featuring kickers, 5 rails, a half-pipe and much more. There is also the chance to try other winter activities such as ice climbing, snow shoeing and cross country skiing.
Chamonix is also a favourite of seasonnaires due to the vast amount of activities and things to do when not skiing. There are so many restaurants it will be hard to experience them all and the bars and clubs open for happy hour until the early hours of the morning, many offering discounts for season workers. Chamonix holds a large swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts and an indoor rock climbing centre as well as a bowling alley and cinema showing English movies.
