La Rosière
Sitting at an altitude of 1850m La Rosiere boasts amazing views down the Tarentaise Valley and a fantastic sunshine record. With its location on the French/Italian border the San Bernardo Ski area receives above average snow fall for the region due to catching both weather systems.
The skiing offers something for everyone with tree runs, steep blacks, extensive off piste, well groomed snow parks, great beginners slopes and the chance to ski in two countries, all without ever seeing a lift queue! The 160km of piste are mirrored by the off piste which is easily accessible; the link to La Thuile also opens up the opportunity for heliskiing which is not available in other French resorts.
For season workers the resort offers a friendly atmosphere and a close knit community where nightlife is focused around some lively town centre bars which feature live music and regular DJ’s.
