Saas Fee
Saas Fee is a wonderful resort, whether you are starting your first season or have spent lots of winters in the mountains. The ski area is perfect for beginners as there are lots of wide green runs very close to where you work and live but there are also plenty of more challenging runs including long blacks, off piste skiing and an amazing snow park where world famous freestyle riders are often spotted. Many ski and snowboarding films are set on the slopes in Saas Fee.
The resort of Saas Fee is a ‘chocolate box’ picturesque village with lots of restaurants, bars and shops. There is a revolving restaurant at the top of the mountain and a sledging course and toboggan track to keep everybody busy! There is also a leisure centre with tennis courts and swimming pool.
After a hard day at work there is a very busy nightlife with bars staying open late and also lots of things to do on your day off if you are not a skier or just fancy trying something different. The resort is easily linked to the other Saas villages with further skiing and restaurants and you can take a short bus ride to Mattmark dam or just a little longer will take you to Zermatt to see the Matterhorn mountain. There really is something for everybody to do!
