Lapland Ranger
The role of a Lapland Ranger is very active one and based outdoors for much of the day. Your main responsibilities will be during the guest Activity Days when you will be actively participating and encouraging guests to become involved in all the winter activities from ice fishing, sledging, snowman building to husky sled driving.
You will also escort the guests on their coaches to and from the airport and their activity centres and deliver information as required to the guests. You will encourage all in the festive spirit and lead singing and Christmas cheer! You will also attend guest Gala Dinners and engender an atmosphere of fun and festivity with your prime role being the entertainment of the children at these evening events.
Our Lapland Rangers need to have a friendly and outgoing personality with bags of enthusiasm, an exceptionally child-friendly approach and plenty of Christmas cheer.
Being part of the Lapland team you will be required to adhere to the Santa story at all times. Lack of natural day light and minus temperatures are also part of the day to day lifestyle you can expect.
As well as the general skills related to your role you will also be required to assist with other physical duties such as moving snow activity equipment, luggage and snow clearing.
