When it comes to deciding where you might want to do your winter season or summer season, there are many things that you will need to consider. Here at Inghams, Esprit Ski, Ski Total and Santa's Lapland, we believe that we are able to offer the widest choice of resorts and positions, based on your previous professional experience, plus your ski/snowboarding ability to ensure that you are able to make the most from your seasonal experience abroad.
But don’t take our word for it, check out what our own overseas staff have to say about their time working a season:
“I can honestly say that I gained more life experience and workplace knowledge from 1 ski season than I did from 3 years of university, which is why I followed up with three more seasons working both summer and winter. The people you meet on your season are amazing, whether it’s your colleagues or your guests, there is always someone to have a laugh with. It was easily the best decision of my life so far and think working a season is a must for everyone!” - James Walker
“I am now on my 7th season on the beautiful Lake Garda, and just preparing for my 8th back in the Alps for the winter! I love doing seasons because no 2 days are the same, you make so many new friends and very often friends to keep for life! The people you meet and experiences you get to have, make the job special. Working a season is a great opportunity where you get to live in amazing countries with exciting people from different cultures and say 'This is my Job!' " - Chloe Sammons
“I thoroughly enjoyed my seasons with workaseason, they were challenging, fun and character building. I found my time in the mountains quite unique and would recommend it to anybody who wishes to work abroad, meet new people and learn new skills. It is a step outside reality and is an experience I feel people should consider.” - Rebecca Golding
"After doing my first season over 5 years ago, I never looked back! I love the chance it gave me to move around and experience different ways of life and enjoy some lush scenery. I found a laugh around every corner and challenges to keep me busy, and most importantly, I have met people who will be by my side forever!" - Jayne Williams
"I originally decided to do a season to take a break away from London life and learn how to ski. I am now in my 12th season with the original intent of just doing one. The experiences, the different cultures and the people (both colleagues and guests) I have met are what has made me want to keep locking in the next season. It’s a great way to get out in nature, travel and create amazing experiences. Whether you do choose to do one season or many, it is definitely an experience I would highly recommend. “The real world” will still be there when you return, and you will return with so many valuable lessons, far more than an office job could provide" - Terese Bosworth
