As a Kitchen Assistant/Night Porter you will be part of the Chalet Hotel team catering for between 40 to 200 guests. As a key member of the team, you will be expected to support the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen operation. You will be responsible for carrying out hygiene checks and stock taking and assisting in a smooth running service. As Night Porter you will be responsible for manning the reception, cleaning and upkeep of communal areas, nightly watch and security, some hotel administration, stock checking and laundry checking. We look for hard working, self motivated individuals with strong inter-personal skills and confidence in their own ability to work both alone and as part of a team. These roles are the ideal starting point for those looking to begin a career in the Catering Industry.
Typical summer contracts range between four and five months overseas. We do have some shorter contracts for Reps and Chalet Hotel staff, starting in mid-June and ending at the beginning of September, primarily in France and Austria. Please call the office to find out about availability.
