Responsible for the day to day customer service delivery in resort.
Whether you are based in Norway, the European Alps, Slovenia or Croatia as a Representative no two days will be the same. In some resorts you will be sole rep and others working as part of a team to provide excellent standards of guest service and care.
Your responsibilities will include assisting the Resort Manager with guest welfare, to understand and involve yourself with any operational needs of your resort. As a Representative your main role will be to accompany transfers, to hold informative welcome meetings and selling running events and excursions.
Our Representatives are the face of the company on guests’ arrival so you will be friendly, professional, hard working and conscientious with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Typical summer contracts range between four and five months overseas. We do have some shorter contracts for Reps, Chalet Hotel and Childcare staff, starting in mid-June and ending at the beginning of September, primarily in France and Austria. Please call the office to find out about availability.
There is definitely more on offer in the summer than in the winter in the Alps. From windsurfing on Lake Como (Italy) and cycling the Gross Glockner Road (Austria) to climbing ‘Via Ferrata’ in Saas Fee (Switzerland), the Alps are definitely the place to experience a wide variety of sporting activities. There is of course summer skiing in some resorts with high altitude glaciers, but day trips to cities such as Salzburg, Venice and Zurich are also highlights of the summer season.
Much like the weather in the UK, the mountains can be a little fickle at times. Yes it is possible to have four seasons in one day (even in mid summer), but typically the day time temperatures range between 20 and 30 degrees centigrade, although it does get higher in extended dry periods. You can weather permitting get a tan to beat any beach tan, any day!
