Travel - We will arrange transport for you from the UK to your given resort at the start of your season and a return journey back to the UK at the end of your season. All you will need to do is make your own way your given UK departure point. Depending on when you are recruited you will receive your travel information up to 3 weeks prior to your departure overseas.
If you choose to make your own travel arrangements to your resort overseas, please let us know at least 4 weeks before you are due to travel.
You may travel overseas (and return) either by coach or by air and therefore we only guarantee carriage of one 20kg bag plus one item of hand luggage. If you choose to take your own ski or snowboarding equipment this will be at your own cost.
Training - Before you head overseas you will be required to complete a few online training modules to prepare you for your season. All staff will need to complete the modules on Health and Safety, Guest First and GDPR. Specific roles will need to complete the additional courses or have a valid certificate for; Food Hygiene Level 2 and/or Safeguarding. These roles will be informed to complete these training modules.
All members of staff will undergo training courses take place at the start of the season. These courses will teach you how to complete your jobs as well as give you some great seasonal tips from our knowledgable overseas managers. This also give our staff the chance to ask any questions they may have about the season ahead to the overseas senior management teams. Each department, whether it be the Childcare, Catering, Front of House, Santa's Lapland or Reps & Managers, will operate different training sessions commencing on your contract start date. Most courses typically last a week and it may well be that your course isn't held in your country placement. Your venues and locations for each training session will be detailed in your pre-season newsletters or with your departure information.
