Travel & Training

Travel

For our ski programs, travel options will be discussed at a later date if you are successful.

For our Lapland programs, return flights from one location in the UK are included as part of the package. You will need to arrange your travel to this location. More information will be given at a later date regarding flight information.

Training

Before you head overseas you will be required to complete a few online training modules to prepare you for your season. All staff will need to complete the modules on Health and Safety, Guest First and GDPR. Specific roles will need to complete the additional courses or have a valid certificate for; Food Hygiene Level 2 and/or Safeguarding. Any staff who are required to do this will be notified.

All members of staff will undergo training courses at the start of the season. These courses will teach you how to complete your jobs as well as give you some great seasonal tips from our knowledgeable overseas managers. This also give our staff the chance to ask any questions they may have about the season ahead to the overseas senior management teams. Each department, whether it be the Childcare, Catering, Front of House, Santa's Lapland or Reps & Managers, will operate different training sessions commencing on your contract start date. Most courses typically last a week and normally take place in the country you will be working in. Your venues and locations for each training session will be detailed in your pre-season newsletters or with your departure information.
