If you are a chef or an experienced home cook, then why not consider working a ski season in one of our fantastic chalets or hotels? We have lots of jobs for people with a background in catering and we can train those who only have ambitions! Many skiers and snowboarders will tell you that the catering team are the heart and soul of any good chalet company. We set the highest level by the quality of our chalet and hotel meals and we are always looking for exceptional staff, from our Chalet Hosts to Head Chefs to Kitchen Assistants! Chalet Host One of the most iconic positions in the mountains. As a Chalet Host, you will either be working within a single staffed chalet or as part of a team. You will be responsible for creating and cooking delicious meals for 4 – 20 guests staying in our ski chalets.

Chalet Manager Managing the operation of one of our largest chalets, the Chalet Manager oversees a team, which will include a Chalet Chef and Chalet Hosts, in providing an excellent service for our guests. 

Resort Chalets Manager Managing a ‘pod’ of chalets, you will oversee the Chalet product delivery in your resort. You will have the responsibility of managing your staff, overseeing the cleanliness standards and ensuring high-quality food is delivered to your guests on a daily basis. Alongside this, you will also manage the guest experience in terms of supplying lift passes, equipment and tuition, along with making suggestions for amazing memory-making experiences around the resort. 

Head Chef Bring your passion and experience for cooking to the Alpes. Drive your kitchen team to consistently deliver high standards of food for guests and staff, providing a great experience for everyone. As a strong leader, you will train and develop your team, manage food hygiene, control stock and play a key management role in the success of the entire hotel operation.

Sous Chef Responsibly drive the kitchen team in its daily operations to serve excellent meals for guests and staff. Be an experienced mentor to the team of chefs while ensuring kitchen hygiene, providing strong reliable support for the Head Chef and ultimately delivering a culinary experience for our guests.

Chef de Partie Bring your love of food and kitchen experience to one of our Alpine hotels and lead a section delivering great food and service to our guests. Develop your knowledge and skills in a fast-paced but excellent environment.

Commis Chef Build on your knowledge and develop your kitchen skills in a hotel kitchen team based in the French Alps. You will assist with deliveries and stock control, assist with the preparation of meals for guests and staff and play an important role in the hotel's team of staff.

Kitchen Assistant/Night Porter In this dual role, you will use your skills to facilitate an efficient and clean kitchen operation as well as help to maintain a high standard of guest care. During kitchen shifts, you will take responsibility for deliveries and stock control while assisting with cleaning and kitchen hygiene. During night shifts, you will ensure the safety of the hotel and provide a helpful and courteous welcome for guests.

FAQs

The winter season for the majority of staff spans from end of November to the end of April. Management teams will start earlier in mid-November. We do also offer late start positions for those people who are unable to start until January.
If you are working in one of our kitchens you will need to ensure that you have appropriate indoor non-slip footwear. If you are involved in deliveries which may result in you being outside you will also need to ensure that you have outdoor footwear that has a sole that is suitable for working in winter conditions.
We provide all of our chefs with Whites and trousers, our Kitchen Assistants are provided with tops and trousers as well. If you are working in our chalets, you will need to purchase your own trousers via our approved supplier but all other uniform will be provided for you. You must provide your own footwear.
