Assistant Hotel Manager

Providing guest and staff welfare and leading the Chalet Hotel team daily.

Working alongside & supporting the Hotel Manager in every aspect to ensure the smooth running of the hotel. The role provides guest service and will lead the team of hotel staff.

We are looking for people who are team players, guest focused, confident and outgoing, have an eye for detail and lead by example.

In the absence of the Hotel Manager you will act as Duty Manager, ensuring all aspects of the hotel run smoothly, responsible for house-keeping, restaurant, bar and staff management.

FAQs

The winter season for the majority of staff spans from end of November to the end of April. Management teams will start earlier in mid-November. We do also offer late start positions for those people who are unable to start until January.
All of our teams in our Chalet Hotels work in a shift pattern. This will either be in the form of a split shift, or a longer morning or evening shift depending on the duties that need to be covered in the Chalet Hotel. All chalet staff work split shifts to ensure that the morning and evening duties are covered.
Positions are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so those that apply earlier are more likely to be able to be placed in a resort of their choosing, however it is still dependent on interview performance and suitability for the resort including such considerations as being a first time skier and language skills requirements.
