Santa's Lapland Roles

Why not try something new and exciting this winter by joining the team and having a magical experience with the REAL Santa in his native Finnish Lapland? Being part of our Lapland team is all about having a passion and love for Christmas. It will involve you working in Finnish Lapland in the Arctic Circle, where our guests come to visit the Real Santa Claus in his native home. This will require you to adhere to the Santa story at all times and ensure each family's visit to Lapland is a special and magical one - a love of Christmas is an absolute must! If you have a happy and friendly disposition and the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with a constant smile, all while making sure our guests receive the complete Lapland experience, then working in Lapland could be for you. Lapland Compliance Administrator This back office role is pivotal to ensure all our staff are working compliantly to the correct hours and have submitted all timesheets on time. 

Santa's Lapland Aurora Representative Manager As Aurora Manager, you will oversee the whole of the Aurora program. You will coordinate and organise the Aurora activity day at our outdoor centre to ensure it is running as efficiently as possible while creating a Christmas atmosphere. You will lead and develop the team of Aurora representatives to ensure all aspects of the guest's holiday provide a magical experience and any guest issues are resolved promptly. 

Inghams Santa Breaks Resort Representative You will be responsible for all aspects of guests' holidays to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible, from checking in, delivering welcome speeches, attending the Gala dinner, promoting and booking additional activities as well resolving any guest issues as and when they arrive. You will also be responsible for creating the Christmas atmosphere while accompanying guests in the activities through songs and games to enhance the guest experience. 

Santa's Lapland Staff Chef An important role, ensuring that along with the other staff chef, the team of over 100 staff are well fed with comforting and nutritious meals while enjoying the buzz and excitement of Lapland. 

Santa's Lapland Administrator The key to a successful Lapland holiday is the planning and organisation by our administrator team, coordinating the guest pick-ups, coach allocations, activities and schedules. With a high-volume program, we need to ensure this runs like clockwork to ensure each family can maximise the short time they are in Lapland and experience all it has to offer through our careful planning. 

Santa's Lapland Elf The most magical role to help make all guests' dreams come true. In this Character based role, you will assist Santa Claus to ensure all guests have a truly magical visit to see him in his log cabin home in snowy Lapland. 

Santa's Lapland Ranger This is a fun and exciting role where you are truly a part of all aspects of the guest's holiday. From collecting the guests at the airport, coordinating the outdoor activity day and creating a Christmas atmosphere with lots of songs and games to make sure our holidays will have memories to last a lifetime for all the family. 

Santa's Lapland Representative Based in one of the local hotels you will be responsible for all aspects of the guest's holidays to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible from checking in guests, delivering welcome speeches, attending the Gala dinner, promoting and booking additional activities as well resolving any guest issues as and when they arrive, all while ensuring this once in a lifetime holiday is a magical experience.

FAQs

The season for Santa's Lapland depends on the position you are contracted to do, with management staff being overseas for approximately 7 weeks and the general team being overseas for about 5 weeks.
As you would expect conditions are quite extreme. Temperatures can fall as low as -40 degrees centigrade at night and not get above -15 degrees centigrade even during the day. It is also very dark, with only a little twilight in the middle of the day.
You will be provided with arctic suits and footwear to allow you to complete your roles and to ensure you are properly protected when you are out and about even outside of work hours. You will need to provide your own warm and suitable winter clothing such as thermal base layers and advice on this will be sent separately.
