Lapland Representative

As a Santa's Lapland Representative you will assist with all operational and guest related aspects that are particular to the guests in your designated properties.

As a Santa’s Lapland Representative you will ensure the high standards that the company expects are maintained while providing exceptional customer service to all of our guests to ensure their holiday runs as smoothly as possible at all times. You will predominately be based in one of our Hotels or Christmas Cabins. You will liaise closely with the hotel’s management or our cabin hosts to ensure the smooth running of the guests’ accommodation and any other requirements of their holiday. You will be responsible for running and attending the Gala dinners in the evenings. Additionally you will be promoting and selling our optional extra activities to our guests to ensure the company’s sales targets are met. All our representatives will be confident in public speaking and have the ability to solve any problems the guests may have and effectively deal with any in resort complaints.

Our Santa's Lapland Representatives need to be a confident and outgoing, with excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to work within a team. You must be able adapt your skills quickly into our fast-paced and exciting working environment.

Being part of the Santa's Lapland team you will be required to adhere to the Santa story at all times. Lack of natural day light and minus temperatures are also part of the day to day lifestyle you can expect.

FAQs

The season for Santa's Lapland depends on the position you are contracted to do, with management staff being overseas for approximately 7 weeks and the general team being overseas for about 5 weeks.
As you would expect conditions are quite extreme. Temperatures can fall as low as -40 degrees centigrade at night and not get above -15 degrees centigrade even during the day. It is also very dark, with only a little twilight in the middle of the day.
You will be provided with arctic suits and footwear to allow you to complete your roles and to ensure you are properly protected when you are out and about even outside of work hours. You will need to provide your own warm and suitable winter clothing such as thermal base layers and advice on this will be sent separately.
